Elate Cosmetics is an emerging, ethical beauty company and a Certified B Corp. They hired Becoming to create an elevated visual brand to define their evolving market position and to remain at the forefront of the conscious beauty movement. OVERVIEW

Hoyne asked us to create the branded system for their Bier Garten series of German inspired beers (biers). With a strong focus on authenticity and tradition, the series introduces a custom wordmark, a branded crest and colour system to set every beer in the series apart, while keeping that big happy German family feel!

Brand Identity

OVERVIEW

We teamed up with the talented brand strategists at Frank Strategy to create a totally new concept in the online sex toy retail market. Mindful leaves all of the antiquated notions around sex behind and instead, champions sexual wellness, body positivity and (as the new company name states), mindfulness. We created a custom wordmark which embodies both the shapes of the products sold by Mindful and also suggests a human interaction and exploration, which is at the heart of the brand essence.

Student Awards 2022

OVERVIEW

The Association of Registered Graphic Designers is Canada's largest professional guild for graphic design. The Becoming creative team is comprised of certified and provisionally certified designers. RGD approached us to be the Design Partner of their 2022, National Student Awards. We created an identity which resonates with students both in the key messaging and in the aspirational brand graphics. To do this, we worked with one of the most basic elements possible. We spray painted the ’S’ and ‘A’ (for Student Awards) as the basis for the logo and for the key graphic of the identity system. The result is a dynamic identity system which allows for a broad range of messaging and repetition over the course of the year.
